Order Of The Golden Rose

The Order of the Golden Rose was a Knightly Order of the Jodek Empire. It was founded in 49 J.F., partway through the Second Great Dragon War. The armies of the empire at the time were pulled from the male population. A group of bereaved women (often widows, mothers, and sisters) became paladins of Amp, and organized themselves as knights. They fought valiantly during the war, especially in protection of several smaller settlements. They earned imperial favor for their actions, and were one of the first official Knightly Orders of the empire.

The order remained active in the years after the war, continuing their efforts to, in the words of their oath, "shine a light in the darkness, and to vanquish the evil things that hide therein." The order remained comprised of human women, and paladins of Amp.

The order was still headquartered in Sunkeep City when the Age of Morakh began. They were active in resistance efforts, but most did not survive the initial attack. They had been eradicated by the time that Morakh was defeated and empire was reformed.
