Elemental Planes

The Elemental Planes are a collection of Plane that contain highly concentrated elements. There are four such planes: the Elemental Plane of Earth, the Elemental Plane of Water, the Elemental Plane of Air, and the Elemental Plane of Fire. Each plane is connected to two others, and the greater plane shape is that of a ring. In the center of the ring lies a great Maelstrom, where the mixture of the elements causes a powerful storm.

The planes were the original homes of The Four, and they had thrones there until the formation of the New High Plane. Since then, great Elemental Lords have filled the power vacuum and now reign over the people there.
